Crumbley Feed Bin

Historical Henry County family barn pictured with reference to use and the Crumbley and Selfridge families.

 Crumbley Feed Barn -CRMFB

The Crumbley Feed Barn was donated to BarnBeautiful by the property owner Steven Marsh. Having recently purchased the farm from the estate of Mrs. Fannie Kate Selfridge Crumbley, Mr. Marsh was only able to provide limited historical knowledge of the barn or how it had been used over the years. In working with various Crumbley family members, we have been able to determine that the barn was part of the Selfridge homestead when it was deeded to Fannie upon her marriage to William D Crumbley in 1957. We have identified it as a feed storage barn based on the materials found inside when we began the reclaiming process. The barn was dismantled in September of 2018.
